Founded by award-winning filmmakers and educators, the Allentown Film Festival is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that brings the Independent Film Festival experience to Eastern Pennsylvania. Each screening block includes films of various lengths followed by a Q&A panel discussion with filmmakers.

Films should be between 1 - 5 minutes in length. We seek to honor compelling short films that exude authenticity and humor with solid, traditional storytelling. All genres are eligible, from non-fiction documentaries to scripted dramas and comedies. IT'S FREE TO ENTER! Submit as many films as you wish, and encourage your friends and neighbors to as well. SHORT IS GOOD! We love on3-minute films. You must live, work, or study in Lehigh Valley, PA to qualify for monetary prizes. Top prize: $1,000. Click to submit your film.
The second annual Allentown Film Festival will take place in April 2024 at the Civic Theatre of Allentown's two historic venues, the Allentown Art Museum, Miller Symphony Hall, The Downtown Allentown Market, and other iconic landmarks in the city.
